MTV Music Awards Europe started out in 1994 by MTV Europe to celebrate the popular music in Europe. It is actually an expansion of the original American MTV Video Music Awards. For the year 2008, the MTV Music Awards Europe is going to be held in Liverpool on 6 November. Every year there will be a different venue for the MTV Music Awards Europe. There will be a whole crowd of people coming to the music awards to cheers their favourite celebrities in the music scene.

The categories include Rock Out, Ultimate Urban, Act of 2008, New Act, Best Act, Most Addictive Track, Headliner, Album of the Year, Best National Act and Europe's Favourite Act. There are two non-voting categories, Best Video and Free Your Mind. It is very simple to determine the winners. The residents in European countries will have to cast their votes for each categories before the deadline. It is as simple as that and no hassle at all.

All I can say is that this is an anticipated event of the year in Europe when thousands of fans will be coming over to attend the award show or simply hang around to get a glimpse of their favourite singers. Be sure to be there on time if you don’t want to miss out on the event. Awards
